I'm just gonna throw a word of caution in to this thread. As much as you know I and many others will be willing to pay an extra amount to keep our second home afloat.

Make sure you know have a good idea how many peeps are in the "aye" camp (get tilt to do a poll), and then count how many new (and therefore possibly non recurring members) you got in the last year. If the extra wonga from the "ayes" doesn't at least cover the possible loss of those newbies then it ain't going to work.

Because when the moaners start to whinge about the cost, OSA has to be able to pay for itself. And only that will stop the urge to throw virtual bricks through the monitor at the freeloaders. Not that I've been in the same predicament of course

aye mate thats the thing i wudnt wanna jus bump up the price as even tho many wont even think twice about it i can appreciate those who dont use the site maybe as much thinking its a bit too much for them to be spending like.

thats why i like jammers idea of havin different tiers. something cheaper to get those are currently missing out as its a bit too dear for em as it is n something a bit dearer with more benefits such as more webspace etc for those who wanna throw a bit more into the pot

Not been about much the last couple of weeks but noticed the sites down time, thought it'd been hacked at first Thanks for the good work in getting it up again Butty! I've run a few clan games sites over the past few years and know how much of a pain this crap can be. BJ's idea is a good un I reckon, theres probably quite a few who don't need the facilities of the gold but who would like access to mixes and the like.
