when i did the hip hop tour grandmaster caz was the host, he told us it was him who sent the place the dark, powering his sound system, he blew the lights in the street lamp and caused a big power cut in the neighbourhood, legendary.
you also go to a few of the parks where the block parties happened and a few of the early venues like Harlem world, most are gone now though, but its ace to see where it all began.
you also stop off in Harlem for some propper soul food
when we was there rahim from the furious five walked in for some food, he ended up getting back on the tour bus with us back to manhattan and him and grandmaster caz was freestyling together all the way back, was amazing, cant believe i didnt film it on my camera !!!!. got photos if anyone wants to see them ?
