This is probably not gonna be the same view as most people, but I don't think it'd be right to let her carry on teaching.
Having said that, I don't think it's right to sack her for it either.
What 'should' happen is that things like this should be avoided.
Or at least she should have to disclose stuff like this to the school authorities at the time of being appointed. That way it's on her if she doesn't, and on the school if she does and they appoint her anyway.
Sorry, I guess I just have high standards when it comes to people responsible for kids education
