had a not-so heavy duty / thorough one hours before the birth of my daughter. it wasn't really appealing to me in the condition i was in.
tho i quickly recalled a friend of mine telling me about her humiliation as her husband insisted that she, "STOP SHI***** ALL OVER THE TABLE!!!" just moments before she gave birth.
