Night started off with a phone call from Cartouche at 9:15 saying Scubar was not open!

I thought it was a wind up! Turned out Butty was running late!
After some frantic cable laying

. . . the night started at about 9:40 with Soda Jules. . . shame you only got a short stint as you played some top tunes.
Adam B worked the room well and got the temperature rising, by playing some piano belters.
Next it was little old me

.. . . I had been walking around trying to convince myself I was not nervous and doing a very bad job of it and resorted to Jack Daniels a little early! It was a relief to finally get that first mix out of the way. I loved every last second of it, so a big thanks to Butty for the slot.
Played quite a spread of material, the cover of Terrence Trent Darby - Sign Your Name seemed to go down well and favourites such as Electrik Dance and Q never fail. . .. . it's easy with tunes like that

.
On to Cano. . . .I agree with Woody. . .set of the night mate

. . .. some great tunes and mixed so smoothly as per usual. Loved Kites mate. . . was gonna play it myself!
Welly played as Welly does. . . .very well. . .. great scratching and at times I was transported back to Ark at Leeds Corn Exchange!
Last but not least. . . Woody. A very unusual, but top alternative last hour mate. . . .not at all what I expected, but some really good grooves and Buffalo Stance nuff said.
Great to see everyone before Christmas. . .Thanks for the many kind words.
Have a Wonderful Christmas and a Fantastic 2008.
Chris.
