Got in to Manchester and had a quick pint with Danny and his mates, had a bt of a laugh before heading to Scubar.
The smoking ban meant that half the time half the people were outside smoking bifters, this smoking ban is weird.
Really enjoyed meeting new peeps, Say say and Cano was great to meet you (will get up for the next My house after this one if I can, get yourselves down to the Smoke!), Vickles, very exciting and smelled nice, Streetboy (top lad, we need to get everyone down here for a do) Ganja duke (top midlands possee), TC and Nothern Star, just remember making you laugh about us both being tall and everyone else being under nourished.....
Great to see Tall Paul, Dr Hux, Shooms, Shabbacus, Nics, Sonz and Butty and Mart, thanks again for the lift, hope you got back safe and sound.
Missed half of Marts set from jangling upstairs (doh), but what I did hear was great. Had never heard Welly before but he was quality, loads of hip house in there and some quality scratching as well.
Mr Ben was up next, great start to the set and rocked it all the way through, including Progen, which Ihaven't head played out for donkeys.
TP up next, great stuff then Ste (was pissed by this stage, but was dancing) and Danny finished it off, built his set up nicely, a few people thought he wasn't going to play and old skool, but he held his nerve and built it up and rocked the place with When doves cry.
Hope everyone recorded the sets and has tracklistings, the music was great and there were loads I didn't recognise.
Anyway enjoyed it, hope everyone else did. Woke up the next day without a hangover, which at my age is a prper result
