I made a claim for whiplash against the person who ran into the back of me last december. I suffered whiplash injury and injury to my muscles and ribs on the left side due to the seatbelt as they hit me hard enough that they sent my car into another car
- i was chucked forwards quite violently. I have just been offered a settlement which i have accepted so should be here soon.
I have had the prescribed course of physio which has helped me a lot but i still suffer a bit from it but its not going to get any better than it is right now so ill still go for the odd session every so often just to make sure it does not get any worse as i value my health.
Good Luck with your claim - what you will get offered will depend on what the doctor they send you to says about your injuries in his/her report and the course of treatment they tell you that you need.
Also you dont have to accept the offer if you dont feel its enough to compensate you for the injury you have sustained)
I had motor legal protection on my insurance policy so i used that going through my insurance to to make my claim.
