Ringos are still kicking about somewhere I'm sure, it was only a year or two ago I last bought a multipack. They have deffo changed though, and for the worse IMO, only way I can describe it they used to be smooth and now are like the texture of the onion rings crisps you get, and aren't nearly as nice.

They used to be made by Golden Wonder, and maybe they are made by Walkers now, (incidentally, both Leicester firms)
