| I hate gas guzzlers too. They often just pull out in front of you because their car is bigger. Gay.
But.....whilst there are too many people in the UK.....there are too many people who could be walking rather than driving.
Back in the 80's my parents made us walk everywhere with them. 40 mins to my primary school in the morning, probably double that into the town centre. We only took the car to visit people or they used it to go to work. I know of people who could walk, or cycle, or whatever who still take the car. Similarly I know of people who do actually need to drive. This is the problem I think.
And at least we can travel around our lovely country pretty easily.....unlike the Americans who have no choice but to fly everywhere....or miss out on experiencing the variety and diversity of their own land!
