I was tidying in the attic ealier and I found some old photos of some of my mates I was assigned to back then in 69
I remember all too well, we were assigned to hit the Viet cong hard under the cover of dark southwards. We crossed tropical and subtropical moist broadleaf forests when we came under heavy fire.
I never did see them again
