Christ don't talk to me about musical instruments. My whole family are musical fruitcakes, since I was a kid i've had instruments rammed down my throat.

My dad is an amazing drummer. He's won every award under the sun, including BBC drummer of the year on numerous occasions. He has loads of CD's out in shops lol, the goon. He mainly plays jazz music and thats his love. He plays loads of other instruments too but drums are his forte. He taught the guy who plays bongo's for Joy sometimes lol.

My mum plays the trumpet, the guitar and the piano, and teaches piano lessons locally as well as her day job. And my brother is fcking amazing on the drums too, finished all his grades, plays all over with different bands.

Our house is full of instruments, there are a few piano's/ keyboards, all sorts of trumpets.guitars/trombones/other random brass & percussion instruments in the attic, and to top it all off, we have an entire converted sound proof room in our garage with a humongous drum kit and percussion/symbol set where my dad practically lives when he's not working.

My cousin is a concert pianist, my auntie and uncle are both really talented musicians too, they run a 60 piece brass band and my uncle heads all sorts of orchestras. Most of our family friends are strange musical folk.

So as I said, rammed rammed RAMMED down my throat. They sent me to yammaha music school to learn piano and to read music etc when I was about 3 . Then forced me into lots of string instrument lessons, which I promptly quit after a bad incident with a violin lol.

I'll stop there lol. You get the picture though

Gosh that was a long post.
