| LOL @ recorder. Yeah, we head to learn the recorder at junior school, I still have it at home actually. It was a Hestair Hope (educational) one you had to buy from the school, and it was plastic, came with its own cleaner and a funky blue soft case. hahaha. mad.
At high school I had no interest in music classes cos it was all boring and about treble clefs and all that toss, violins, all that jive.....If they had computers back then, cubase, keyboards etc then I think I would have done it.
It will probably be a fad to be honest, and although you may have to suffer it for 6 months, I bet it slowly dies off as she gets older. However, saying that, I think learning a musical instrument or three is a great thing to do and is good for the soul and wellbeing of being on the 'right path'....much better going to music class after school or whatever than smashing folk's windows and whatever else the 'wrong crowd' dare each other to do.
