Usually these problems are down to the Audio files sample rate as said by others
Id try and resample at the sample rate u have your track at and then see what happens. You can check your sample rate settings in Cubase preferences.
Personally unless you are working on pro end gear id keep at 44khz as Jammer said its the norm for audio.
