Ha ha...wonder where you got the idea for this thread
Basically i reckon if everyone liked the same sort of music..although it wouldn't necessarily be a terrible thing, there wouldn't be the opportunities to be introduced to tracks from other genres/styles (which I find one of the most interesting elements of the music scene), by other members/music lovers. What i guess i'm trying to say is that everyone liking the same style would obviously restrict the scope of music being listened to, and would make the sound staler, much quicker...tbh though i just use the phrase more as a jokey thing...but there is some reasoning beneath it.
