| Right, I'll do a proper review now I'm back in the real world.....
Night started off pretty hectic, with Si Kelsall getting all stressed out having to run around like a fucking madman picking people up.....Si went on the decks and played a minter of a set, then I went on and did OK, apart from one fuck up that I got all stressed out over and had a strop. Managed to chuck in a couple of tunes that only arrived that day, so that was nice. Finished my set with Mix Factory - Take Me Away (XTC Come Hard Mix)...how fucking good is that tune?!
Then Butty and Recca did a fucking mint back to back set. Loads of anthems and piano's. Nice. Then as Stu Allan was about to go on the decks, Milenko asked him the most random question of all time....."Stu, do you do your own pots?" Cue Stu Allan looking rather confused and answering...."Err...no I have a dishwasher....." (I owe Mel a tenner because I bet him he wouldn't ask him....) Is this a new Milenko thing? Asking star DJ's random as fuck questions? "So Sasha, did you get your name from a cat?" "Slipmatt, what came first, you or the felt thing that goes on decks?" Etc.
Stu Allan did a usual mint set of mid-nineties anthems.
Then Chris Bant played a top trancey set to round off the night.
Afterwards we all piled back to Nics gaff for a mashup. I got as far as the hallway and jibbed into the spare bedroom, and slept. All the way through. Lightweight, aren't I?!
All in all, it was a minter of a night, and thanks to everyone who came out, and made it such a success. Nice to see a few OSA'ers out and about as well.
