Ive had a top weekend, met Katoosh on sat day, chilled till night then went to the Kube about 10.45 went straight downstairs to DJ, was well impressed with the venue and Id not seen half of it yet. Good sound system and nice monitors make a nice experience to play your tunes. The room filled up pretty quickly which I was chuffed with and I got the room nicely bopping away to my funky tunes, played a mixture of funky house, bassline and some funky anthems and also house with a retro flavour, went down really well, was made up with that.
Next up was Paul H, not acutally met him before and his house set was top well enjoyed his basslines. I filled in again for about 20 mins til Fabi came on. He again played lots and lots of bassline house.
Had a wonderful surprise from Ben Fisher, offering me a residency downstairs, to which I almost snapped his hand off lol. Many thanks for the opportunity Ben, Im made up
Went upstairs at about 3am to hear the end of Haighys set, business as usual, very good tunes and mixing. Next up was Ben, played an absolute blinder with all the GT anthems and some impressive mixing.
Id not seen the upstairs yet and was impressed with the layout, PA and lighting system. There were good numbers in the club and plenty of OSA, who I always buzz off

Didnt see the kick off cos we were downstairs, very sad that. Glad it was sorted out quickly. There were a few nobs and attitude in there but you get that wherever you go.

All in all, fantastic time had, hope the night at the new venue goes from strength to strength
