(assuming it's the factory fitted stereo system) if it's a 54 plate motor it should have at least a 12 month manufacturers warrenty on it.

you shouldn't have blown the speaker, might just be a loose screw or something. but if you have blown it, it's a fault within the car stereo system and should be covered by warrenty i would have thought.

I know it's a pain in the arse, but I'd go back to where you got it from and get them to replace the speaker if it's fooked or fix the bloody thing whatever's up with it. don't let them fob you off either, i have worked at a large car dealers and they'll try to (a lot of the time) if they can get away with it.

that's a assuming it's still the factory fitted stereo system, but even if it isn't, anything you buy now has a 12 months warrenty on it.
