What can I say? I'll try and put it into words...
This is a biggie, and sorry if it wanders off topic a bit...but it just shows how Hazy hit me big time and the vibe I was feeling. I have to set the scene first of all, just so you know how much I was buzzing from just meeting people BEFORE I got to Zanzi's.
Got into town and started meeting up with fellow PR dj's (well, I mix on there anyways - hehe) and listeners etc...met up with PoshBird Karen from PR and Untoe - few ales, then Mikeee arrives. Bit of vinyl buying - bump into Grover-Pluto and he greets me with a massive smile and a hug. Awh...how safe is that???

Brotherly love tho... nothing more!!! (I hope)
Hook up with WeeSpeccy and his mate - more ales. Lambutti arrives - and then meet up with Fusion, Silkie, DanceM Lambutti. Great to meet you all
Get to Arena, met up with the scousers and some others... RichieMac, Ange-Face, ScouseCol, SuperFreak, FastRegi, Tidy... and Pissbag
I was proper buzzing from all the open arms from everyone - very touching.
Off we pop to Zanzi's... bit of a mare at the door for Tidy (hmmmm) but what do you expect (those of you that know what happened will know he got away lightly - now THAT is nice-but-tight security).
Finally meet up with DodgyScouser, Annie and Shazz, HappEE, Happ33 (not that you remember) and the KrazyChicks Em and Rachel... plus Doolz,tim_acid (people were getting us mixed up dude eh?), his mate Mark, Alan Osdazed, wikkid (you can't remember either!!!), MouseMaid-m0u5e, JoJo (we spoke, but you were

) lordy... more and more... AngryCat (of course)

, The Shoomster.... arrrrrgh, too many more that I've missed out. Oh, and I didn't manage to meet MissTickle or SJ... I'm gutted.

Pity Murfso wasn't there either. Hope yer well kid.
What I'm trying to say is that everyone greeted me with a hug or a big handshake and a grin and a pack on the back... I was buzzing large just off that...

The attic is a great place, but could do with an aircon unit in there - it was too hot for me at times... I went downstairs to chill now and again, got caught by DodgySteve and he plied me with jd anc cokes for about an hour... we got through loads ffs. Nice one fella - good to meet ya... like I said, you treated me like a brother... very touching.
Attitude... not a single jot... ok, there were a few frozen faces (wink), but thats to be expected... I certainly didn't find the vibe oppressive - in fact, totally the opposite. Seeing as I have a London accent, I thought a few scallies wanting to cause trouble might have picked on me (don't say it's cos I is only 5'7'' you b'stards

). Nope - it was sound.
Mousey

and DreamGirl

(thought I'd forgotten you....? hehe) played some blinders... Eon / Spice was a killer - you don't hear it out very often, and Ladies with An Attitude was especially good (I remember it now... my memory is coming back)... coincidentally, that came in a pack of vinyl today - hooray! Tag too... wicked choons.
Andy Carroll was boss - MK, well... I think he might have had a blinder of a weekend too lol
Overall, Hazy's was wicked - the tactical bail at 3ish was due to overheating and the third triple

. Seriously, could do with an aircon unit upstairs as it was non-stop dancing by everyone. Anyone who was at Grover's place on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday will know that there was a serious 3 day after party going on. Shout out to Michelle (Plutes niece) too btw. I hope I got her name right.
Has to be said... I was very very touched by everyone' welcome

(good tears) and I don't mind saying it...
Special thanks to the following:
------------------------------
AngryCat: (happy birthday again) - thanks for putting up with me over the weekend and treating me like I was family.

Can't say enough. Really can't. Driving about to places, listening to me gab on etc... thank you.
DodgyScouser: we had a laugh downstairs bro - you, again, treated me like a brother.

Lordy, I was in stitches with some of the stuff we were coming out with. What the hell were we on? I guess it was the Hazy vibe. I mean, at one point I was laughing so much I had to hold on to the stair post to stay upright. LMFAO.
SuperFreak: bro, you don't have like yer bits'n'pieces eh? Well done for the surprise package on Tuesday night

Top lad. Good to meet ya. POPPODUM.
Grover n Shaz:

Well, seeing as I turned up with Angry and it took 30mins for Shaz to say "who the feck is he?"

can only mean you had a blinder too. And that was just the start of the after Hazy sesh. Thanks for looking after me - hosts with the most

. Your hospitality is second to none. Taking me in like a brother, giving me the **utmost** trust. Food and drink and all sorts. Ultimately sound people. The PR session was funny as - remember me on the floor in fits of laughter?? Again, I can't say enough. By all means, eat the bacon (you've already had the poppodums ffs).... BUT DON'T LET MY VINYL ANYWHERE NEAR THE ABYSS.
Grover and all the others, you've got a wicked vibe going there.
I've agreed to work late on NYE as I thought I was gonna be in London, but I'm gonna try and get to Hazy if I can... I might be cutting it fine for the door time if I have to work till 6.30 as I agreed, but if the trains are running to time, and I can leave my luggage somewhere, I reckon I can get there for 11pm.

Hazydayz is indeed very special.

spread the vibe lol

Love, hugs and big smiles to everyone involved
I was touched.
Oh yeah, and to top it all off, it was the HazyDayz vibe that forced me to play on PR for 14hrs a few hours after I got back to London...

I was still buzzing off the memories... I still am. If you went to Hazy and have a couple of bad days at work in the future, look around at the people you work with...and just remember "I've been to Hazy... they haven't"
Hopefully I haven't bored you. You can tell that was my first Hazy eh? I'll be back if you'll have me people
