What a mad day yesterday, started off in Stockport with Shooms/Sweet buying decks and mixer and off back to Sweets to set them up, hehe how chuffed were you to get them, and see them in action

Off into town to meet up with Valentiadobe and Oldskoollisa & Steve, lol what a mad one that turned out to be, you lot turned up just as Dry was shutting, didn't even know they shut at 8:30 and opened again at 10, mad one.

Got into Sankeys at about 9:45 and it was really busy already

by around 10, and was paranoid that Amelie was lost in Manchester, and the feckers wouldn't let me out of the club into the courtyard to ring and check, as there's no reception inside the club - so I hid behind a door and made a crafty call.
Lou Lou and a few folks came over and said hello, I was a bit pickled so sorry if I didn't say much lol and the next thing I knew I was at the bar trying to remember how to buy water and Amelie had said to me "just wait there, I'll be right back" - only I hadn't twigged it was her, and was just thinking "wow, who was that, she was gorgeous" then spotted Danny C and had a natter, same with tj69, and Pot Mash was lurking around too..
Then I had managed to get water and made my way back to Pauly P, when Amelie came found me and I was like, no way! couldn't belive it lol
You looked amazing, and have the most heavenly eyes
And I hope this doesn't offend you, but you reminded me of Madonna! the eyes and the way you had your hair, you just had this aura/air about you, and not that I've met Madonna or owt lol but that's what I thought, haha - I'm mad I know
An old mate from school came and said hello, and I wanted to give him the board address for this place, but couldn't get the words out, by then I was propper
You couldn't move in there by 11pm, and we all went for a sit down, well I stood up as I had me huge camera in me pocket lol (oh I did really well, I managed to take a grand total of 1 picture, hooray for me - the fecking battery ran out just after I got a snap of me with Mike Pickering)

Big hello's to everyone else that I met there, a girl called 'Wig' (real name apparently, I had to ask several times as I didn't belive her, or thought she'd just made it up lol) and a guy called Richard who found the idea of us getting a taxi back to Stockport funny as feck, no idea what was so funny about that?!
It's a fair sized club, and it's amazing how easy it is to lose someone in there, lol - took us ages to find Konspiracy in there, you just appeared in the middle of nowhere, around the 'stairway to heaven' as I named it
(was a little ramp type walking way that people kept falling off, and I was convinced that I'd dropped my coat ticket under it, and spent 5 mins on the floor only to to be told later by tj69 that it wasn't a coat ticket I had in my hand, it was a chuddy wrapper
Err the music, lol - it was mint, they took turns in the first hour playing some class hip hop and electro, like Man Parish - Hip Hop Be Bop (Don't Stop) and Mantronix - Bassline and Gotta Have Your Love, sure there was a Big Daddy Kane track in there too, a slow one, and tons more, then slowly speeded up to allow a smidgeon of 4/4 slower tracks, some of which I'd never heard before, and then into familiar territory with some class house, Raze - Break For Love, and I was amazed at hearing Frankie Knuckles - Your Love so early on, think it was before 12!!
I was meant to ask if they recorded the sets, but I was too pickled to say owt in there, and think I asked someone random outside and they didn't have a clue lol (I did ask, just not the right people)
Had to get some air at around 2ish, just as Amelie left, aww shame ya left, as you missed 2 Hype - had to ring you and play it ya hehe
Then it was off in hunt of one of them taxi things, to get home, that was a mission and a half, kept saying to Pauly P "ahh fook it, we're on the wrong side of the road" and kept switching sides to get a taxi lol
Glad you had a top night though, and we had some mad chats when we got in hehe, "sitting down is the new standing up" and that cramp you got in both legs was mad, but could see you were having a belting time in there
Shame it was a one off, as it was probably the best old skool night I've been to in years, be cool if they do more (just not clash with hazy
