I work nights and although our team consists only of 4 people (currently 1 down on long term sick of coming upto 3 months) we, "get the job done" - we do the work, and although it's mostly mind numbingly boring work, we always take pride and that and make sure it's right.
There are two day teams that are on during the day and early evening who, depending which shift is in (there are 4 teams, 2 per 4 day week) are often lazy fucks.
Tonight, I spent around 3 hours correcting silly mistakes that they did whilst they were in, then had to do the whole days teams productivity analysis
It's never been seen as 'competetive' throughout any of the day/eve/night teams, and I'm not blowing my own trumpet, or our teams trumpets (not that way inclined, and I haven't had any ribs removed) but looking at what they've done yesterday day time, they're clearly taking the piss.
Now this is obvious to me, and will no doubt be obvious to management, should they bother to look at the analysis properly

but more than likely, it'll go unoticed, yet again.
It fucks me off no end, as the buck stops with us, the night team, as we have the deadlines of 05:30 and 06:30am the next day, to meet, and any fuckups caused down the line, mean we get a load of mither.
I've no intention of 'grassing' any of these fucks up, but wondered what you lot would do in this scenario?
Trouble is, as I say, we have the deadlines, they don't.
Also, we often get blamed for things, as we're not here in the day/eve to defend oursevles, so we get shitty e-mails off folks whining on about things that 95% of the time aren't our fault(s).
So it's taken for granted that whatever they say we've done, we've done
No doubt you lot will have similar situations, and this is just to let off a bit of steam, but it reet pissess me off.
.... and breathe.
