| Hard Drive could be overheating, or your processor is o/h and a possible built in 'safe guard' kicks in shutting it down.
Or, you need to degrag your hard drive, soundforge shouldn't close your pc down, but you may notice drop outs in the audio you are capturing if the drive hasn't been degrag'd in a while.
If it's generally sluggish and being a twat, you might want to backup all you need to, format it and start afresh... |
