| Theres loads of things it could be, try runining Disk Cleanup from Start > Accessories > System Tools
also clear your internet explorer cache from the Tools > Options menu in internet explorer.
If its still runing slowly it may be time to consider upgrading your operating system and putting on a fresh install.
