its my chat environment of choice and I've set up and maintained several rooms and I'm an op in a large room of misfits already.
I can help ya but I need to know which network the channel is going to be on because some of the newer networks have custom software to maintain channels.

If want to put the room on irc.cyberarmy.net then I'm mates with a majority of server admins... so that could be beneficial and they are pretty compliant with other IRC networks (i.e. undernet, dalnet, etc)
